Rangoonwala Trust Vocational Education Courses – Refund Policy
At Rangoonwala Trust, we aim to provide an exceptional learning experience through our vocational education programs. However, we understand that there may be situations where students need to request a refund. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:
- Medical Issues:
- If any medical problems prevent the students to access the course due to any serious circumstance.
- Duplicate Enrolments:
- In the event of a duplicate enrollment or payment for the same course.
- Course Cancellation:
- If Rangoonwala Trust cancels a course for any reason, a full refund will be provided.
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, students must contact the administration at info@rangoonwalatrust.org or visit the center with the following details:
- Full Name, Contact Number, Name of the course(s) enrolled in
- Receipt of the payment
- Application mentioning the reason for requesting a refund
The refund request will be reviewed within 5 business days of receiving an application for the refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days by cheque with the name of the registered student.
Refund Deductions for Attended Classes
- If a refund is approved, the total refund amount will be deducted for the number of classes the student attended (verified by the teacher). The deduction will be calculated based on a pro-rata rate per class attended during the student’s time in the course.
Refund Ineligibility
Refund requests will not be accepted under the following conditions:
- Personal Circumstances:
- Refunds will not be granted due to personal reasons that prevent the student from continuing the course (e.g., change in work schedule, relocation).
- Promotional Discounts:
- Courses or services purchased during a promotional or discounted period are non-refundable.
- Partial Course Completion:
- No refunds will be issued once the course has been partially completed, unless technical or personal issues are clearly documented.
Course Access Upon Refund Approval
If a refund is approved, the student will no longer have access to:
- Course materials
- Assessments or projects
- Any associated content related to the course.
Special Circumstances
Refunds for special circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, family crises) will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must include supporting documentation.
Dispute Resolution
In the case of a dispute over a refund request, Rangoonwala Trust reserves the right to review the case and make a final decision. All students must adhere to the decision made by the Trust regarding the outcome of refund requests.
Refund Discretion Statement
Rangoonwala Trust reserves the exclusive right to approve or decline any refund requests based on the circumstances presented. All decisions made by Rangoonwala Trust regarding refunds are final and cannot be challenged, disputed, or contested in any form. By enrolling in our courses, students agree to abide by the refund policies and decisions of the Trust.
