Comedy Night
A live comedy event is being planned for September 19, featuring talented comedians and an evening of laughter and entertainment. With stand-up comedy gaining significant popularity among audiences today, the event aims to bring together people of all age groups for a fun, engaging, and light-hearted experience. It will provide an opportunity for families, young adults, and comedy enthusiasts to come together and enjoy an evening filled with humor and entertainment.
FC 26 & Tekken Championship (E-Gaming Tournament)
The FC 26 & Tekken 8 Championship will bring together young gaming enthusiasts for an exciting day of competition, skill, and fun. In collaboration with Games4U at Rangoonwala Community Centre, the event will offer participants the opportunity to showcase their gaming abilities, compete with fellow gamers, and enjoy a vibrant, engaging gaming experience.
Photography Competition
The Photography Competition for Amateurs invited 12 aspiring photographers to capture the beauty and architectural character of the Rangoonwala Building through their unique perspectives. The initiative celebrated creativity, encouraged visual storytelling, and provided a platform for emerging talent to showcase their work.
Beat Pe Meet
Beat Pe Meet transformed the community centre into a vibrant cultural hub, bringing together live performances by diverse young artists, an energetic DJ set, interactive activities, and popular food experiences. A major crowd-puller was Crumble, the renowned cookie brand, whose presence attracted more than 450+ large youth audience members and added to the festival's lively atmosphere. The event successfully celebrated creativity, community, and contemporary culture in one dynamic gathering.
Queens of the Road
Queens of the Road celebrated the spirit, confidence, and independence of Karachi's female riding community by bringing together 55 women riders from across the city. The event featured inspiring conversations, a showcase of motorcycles, and opportunities for networking, highlighting the growing presence of women in motorcycling while fostering a strong sense of community and empowerment.
As part of the event, we also collaborated with Muqaddas Zindagi Trust to distribute helmets to participating riders, promoting road safety and raising awareness about the importance of responsible riding and protective gear.
Open Mic
We turned the courtyard into a stage under the stars. Over 70 performers showed up with music, poetry, and stories. What started as a chill hangout became a night full of claps, laughs, and pure community energy.
Kids Fashion Show
The Kids Fashion Show showcased the confidence and creativity of 50 young participants and their families, across two age categories: 6–10 years and 11–15 years. Bringing together families and the community, the event provided a lively platform for children to express themselves on the runway while celebrating talent, confidence, and youthful enthusiasm.
Archery Competition
The Archery Competition began with a trial round, allowing 80 participants to practice and familiarize themselves with the sport before advancing to the main competition. The event encouraged precision, focus, and sportsmanship, attracting enthusiastic participants and fostering healthy competition in an engaging outdoor setting.
Scrabble Competition & Board Games
The competition provided 85 participants with an opportunity to engage in a friendly and intellectually stimulating activity, with separate Immature and Professional categories, while encouraging vocabulary development, strategic thinking, and healthy competition.
The event was designed to promote interaction among students/individuals and create a positive, engaging environment within the community centre.
Health & Wellness Session
We packed the hall with 110 participants for a session focused on health and well-being. With Shaukat Khanam Hospital, The Heath Foundation, National Epilepsy Centre, KDSP, Bawaqar Zindagi, and Go Dental on board, the event gave people real tools and knowledge to take better care of themselves. A true reflection of our commitment to the community.
Purani Jeans Musical Night
A lively and nostalgic celebration of 90s and 2000s Pakistani music. A live band performed iconic hits that the audience grew up with, creating an atmosphere full of energy, memories, and sing-alongs. The event was well-received, with 108 participants thoroughly enjoying the throwback experience and reconnecting with the music that defined their youth.
